When your toddler’s birthday comes around, it’s an event to be celebrated by the whole family. Of course, one of the biggest ways to enjoy this special day is by watching your little boy’s or little girl’s face when they open up each present. Get a personalized baby gift for a toddler is not that difficult because they all like similar things at this stage.

Our little guy is a typical boy. He loves cars, trucks and airplane toys. Little girls all seem to love Dora the Explorer and I have yet to see a little child that doesn’t like Elmo and Sesame Street. Maybe you could get some baby girl clothes with one of the characters and the girl’s name printed on it.

The way that you can teach your toddler to give is by using their new toys and gifts to replace old ones that would otherwise end up at the bottom of the toy box or in the back of the closet. Make it a fun event to take the items to the local Salvation Army or Goodwill center to give away to those in need. In time, your child will learn the value of sharing with others and giving.
