Halle Berry is Pregnant!

Break out the designer label baby clothing and the weird baby names, Halle Berry is expecting! Earlier this week, while on Oprah, Halle Berry informed the world that she and her boyfriend, Gabriel Aubrey, would be expecting a child.

According to Ms. Berry, it was not an easy task. “So there was a lot of staying home and doing what you do. Like, all the time, around the clock,” says the now 3 month pregnant Academy award winner.  It took 35 negative pregnancy tests before the couple finally received a positive test result. 

She then goes on the say that they would like the sex of their baby to be unknown. The excited Berry told Oprah, “there are so few genuine surprises in life anymore that, why not have a huge surprise? And I like fantasizing one
day that it’s a girl, and one day that it’s a boy.”  It is no surprise that she is already making plans for another child.

Ms. Berry recently had her first taste of motherhood while playing a mother in her new film ‘Things We Lost in the Fire’.  The role helped her realize her desire for being a mother. “I think it validated that I was meant to be a mother because every day I dealt with the character as a mother and thinking as a mother. It let me know that I had to be a mother,” says
Berry. 

It goes to show that the miracle of parenthood and the excitement of expecting a child is a beautiful feeling.  We want to wish good luck to Halle as she embarks on her new journey into motherhood.
